This site was created for everyone who, like us, is on a journey to find what it means to really live...to discover meaning, purpose and the joy of becoming the person you were created to be. We certainly don't have it all figured out, but we do hope what you find here will draw you closer to the One who loves you perfectly and knows the path that leads to true life. We share with you our own experiences of life with God through encouraging devotionals, travel stories and photos that reveal God's goodness in the world.
Since getting married, we have had the pleasure of living in a few unique locations: Nome, Alaska, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and now where we currently liven in a small, remote town in northern Idaho. Together, we enjoy finding adventures and exploring the beauty and uniqueness of God's creation. I, Ryan, have previously served as a missionary in Sweden and am currently pursuing a PhD in Intercultural Studies at Biola university. I love sports, travel and helping others experience deep, personal relationship with God that brings real freedom.
I feel so blessed to get to journey through life with my wife, Shelly, an incredible, powerful, full-of-grace woman. I hit a home run with her for sure! Shelly was born deep in the jungle of Papua New Guinea, her family serving as missionaries to the native people there. She currently works as a physician, helping bring physical and spiritual healing to those she serves. She has a heart for worship, prayer and helping others encounter the passionate love of God.
